Remembrance Day
2009-11-11 - 2009-11-11
At 11.00 am on 11 November 1918, the guns of the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of continuous warfare.
On November 11 every year Australians remember those who fought and died for Australia's cause in all wars and armed conflicts. Members of the public are encouraged to attend this important ceremony. Please note that the Memorial will be closed during the ceremony and will open after the ceremony's conclusion.
